Trade Team Prince Edward Island, in partnership with the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce, invites representatives from your company to attend a Market Information Session on The Caribbean Region. Business and trade opportunities with countries in the Americas and the Caribbean Region market represents over $1.8 billion in two-way trade with Canada. This session will provide an overview of business opportunities for PEI enterprises and institutions, with particular emphasis on sectors such as professional services, energy, education and manufacturing.
The session will include presentations from two special guest speakers travelling from the Caribbean Region to be with us. Ms. Tammy Brathwaite, Trade Commissioner with the Canadian High Commission in Barbados and Ms. Michaeline Narcisse, Trade Commissioner with the Canadian High Commission in Trinidad & Tobago, will share a market overview of the Caribbean Region, highlighting areas of opportunities for Canadian firms and organizations. An informed perspective on the mandate, structure and activities of international financial institutions based in the region, including the Caribbean Development Bank and Inter-American Development Bank, will also be shared.
