The United Kingdom is Canada’s largest trading partner in the European Union and as this dynamic and entrepreneurial nation continues on its path of economic diversification and prosperity, significant opportunities exist for enhanced business connectivity between our Island jurisdictions.
Trade Team PEI partners invite your company to attend a Market Information Session on “Doing Business in the Marine Sector!”
This session is a follow-up to the Trade Team PEI Business Mission to the United Kingdom in May, 2015. As several of the UK companies have started to advance collaborative relationships with participating PEI companies and are planning on working together to build their innovation and international business development capacity, this session is timely and focused.
This session will provide an overview of the current Marine Industry in Canada, with discussion on business development and partnership opportunities for PEI-based enterprises. The session will offer practical advice on positioning your organization for success in this sector and include presentations on supply-chain relationships, regulatory environments and national procurement policies and procedures. Public sector agencies and departments with committed economic development mandates will also speak to their core business program supports.
To confirm your attendance at this session, please contact Ms. Susan LeFort at Innovation PEI firstname.lastname@example.org or (902) 368-4231.
